Really beautiful, but also kinda terrifying 😱
Look, people. We have superb keynotes, we are giving prizes, we are giving postdocs a megaphone to tell everyone why they should be hired. This is the meeting to be at. Sign up, join us, and have the time of your life while discussing science with people that know where the cleithrum is🐟🧪
Excited to see this preprint from @drjennkim.bsky.social @kr-maynard.bsky.social, Annie Ciernia and colleagues. I've highlighted this approach and toolset in several recent talks: spatial transcriptomics isn't just about the gene expression -

What a fantastic visit I had. Thanks so much @martinowk.bsky.social for hosting me and excited for future collaborations!

Reflecting on how grateful I am to be a part of the PsychENCODE consortium community - the collaboration, data sharing and open science principles have truly pushed the understanding of functional genomics of neuropsychiatric disorders forward.
Super example and set of tools for how additional information can be extracted from the images to better understand biology. Congrats to the team!
the imaging contains rich information we can mine to better understand function. Here, they integrate microglial morphology with spatial proteogenomic data from human 🧠 to connect cellular structure with local gene expression programs.
Congrats to Jiseok Lee and others in @hyejungwon.bsky.social lab on this set of exciting findings that begin to explain how common variants in schizophrenia mediate functional effects. Honored for our teams to have played a role and to see our new SCZ data get integrated into a study so quickly!!

Microglia exhibit a dynamic range of morphologies that actively shift in response to local environmental cues. There has been a concerted effort as a field to move away from dualistic characterization...
Thrilled to receive the 2026 Schering Young Investigator Award!! 🥳🤩
This recognition reflects the efforts of an outstanding team of students, postdocs, collaborators, and mentors who have contributed to our research over the years.
Many thanks to the jury and the Schering Stiftung for this honor.
