I’m really grateful for the super collaboration with Vijay Tiwari at Uni of Maryland, and other collaborators at John Innes Centre in UK and the Bragato Research Institute in NZ. I’m also super proud of my student, Guilherme Silva, who persisted with this difficult genetic study!
We’re excited to share this international collaborative research effort that characterises the genetic basis of multiovary wheat, which involves a remarkable genome rearrangement event that leads to high expression of WUS-D1.
