Reporting terrible editorial behaviour to a publisher is like reporting a rogue trader to the bank that employs them (and profits from their behaviour). The reaction is not "This must stop" but rather to take whatever "action" will satisfy the critics, while allowing the gravy train to roll on.
Am I the only person wondering how many World Cup games will be decided by bribery or threats against the referees, to bring about the result that Trump wants?
