BREAKING: Republican and former Fox News commentator Steve Hilton will face Democrat Xavier Becerra in November for the seat of outgoing Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The race to succeed Newsom became wide open after former Vice President and California Sen. Kamala Harris and Sen. Alex Padilla, the state’s senior senator, chose not to run.
