i really like tracking weather. i swear people still underestimate how much our bodys basic functioning for the day ties into that stuff. i got my reasons to stay a little tuned in, i know stuff hits me hard, but i like reading a forecast as "heres what peoples bodies experience here today"
i do think it's a little important to break this perception in the average user TBH. not saying everyone has to be a CLI genius or anything but i do think there's value in being able to tell someone "here just copy and paste this command to fix your shit" rather than having them click thru 30 menus
and when you know a lot of awesome sick people all over da world its nice to see whats goin on everywhere while you keep people in your thoughts. impossible to feel too isolated when you know the cold front making you grouchy on one day hits your buddies across the world the next day
