What a day! Paper 1 this morning (with lots of positive students rushing to find me afterwards!), then an evening watching the wonderful @davidolusoga.bsky.social - the poignant ending looking forward to the present (+ beyond) was perfect.

Attended a wonderful Black History tour, led by Joe Williams from @heritagewalker.bsky.social today, around Uni of Leeds campus, as a part of the Leess History CLC. (Despite being a modernist!) particularly loved the links to antiquity... as Joe and I discussed after, antiquity = humanity! 🌎
So excited to lead a reflective Bildung nature walk! And my own colonial walking tour on the Saturday 🌳🗺
My former 'je suis le roi' teddy, now a WW1 soldier used for acting out the Chain of Evacuation, received his first fan art today! ✏️
Excited to host a workshop at SHP again this year... this time, ditching the seminar room setting for a walking tour of LTU and into Horsforth, to show that colonial links truly are everywhere! Inspired by the wonderful @corinnefowler.bsky.social 's Our Island Stories' walking tours 🚶♀️🌍
