A number of significant backend changes have removed or modified existing Alliance public API endpoints. You can find details in the Release Notes www.alliancegenome.org/release-notes
Alliance version 9.0.0 makes available a large increase in the number of C. elegans alleles (~12K to ~1.9M) due to shifting data sources on our back end resources.
Alliance version 9.0.0 adds 'Gene' pages for non-gene genome features, such as enhancers, transcription factor binding sites, etc. These pages are labeled 'GENOME FEATURE'. For example, a GENOME FEATURE report for an enhancer www.alliancegenome.org/gene/MGI:500...
The Gene page Summary widgets now display, where applicable, a gene systematic name (for fly, worm, and yeast genes) and UniProt Gene Centric Reference Proteome (GCRP) IDs (distinct from other UniProtKB IDs).
WormTagDB: a systematic survey of endogenously tagged proteins in Caenorhabditis elegans and roadmap toward the tagged proteome academic.oup.com/g3journal/ar...
The Genomic Variant Information section of Allele pages, & the HT Variant page summaries, now display the relevant genome assembly, thousand comma separators for genomic coordinates (for ease of reading, e.g. 3L:20,992,839 not 3L:20992839), & symbol hyperlinks to JBrowse for the respective variant.
The International C. elegans meeting #worm27 is going to Kobe, Japan in 2027!
