Minnesota charged an ICE officer and had him arrested in Texas. Similar unlawful shootings by immigration agents have taken place in California. Yet, no charges have been filed by state officials in those.
This week, the Miñana Center welcomed Vanessa Young Viniegra. Vanessa joins the team as a Staff Attorney. Previously, Vanessa was a fellow w/Public Counsel, where she worked on civil rights impact litigation and helped bring and litigate a challenge to conditions at the Adelanto Detention Facility.
