and then another guy passing by in a cargo bike told him to hop in the front basket
and the they passed the bus and the cyclist dropped the dude at the next stop 😭😭😭

I was lucky enough to work with Riley on an interagency working group to improve transit and streets for folks with disabilities
In every interaction we had, he was an incredibly kind and thoughtful person who just wanted to make Chicago a better place

Americans apparently agree on one thing: the need for class segregation.

I just received the terribly distressing news that Gordon Wood was hit by a car and killed yesterday. We were together with other Founding era scholars at the 2nd Judicial Circuit conference last week at Lake George, and he was as usual in fine fettle and as always enjoyable to talk to.
