I'm pretty far removed from the norms and neuroses of heterosexual relationships but I still think pairings of comic and tragic takes on the same straight hangups would be good double features (e.g., PHANTOM THREAD as the comic GONE GIRL; LOST HIGHWAY as the tragic EYES WIDE SHUT).
