I've got a c-section booked this autumn, for no other reason than it's MY decision to have MY baby from MY body that way.
It's between me and my doctor, and nobody else's business.

This is just so horribly grim in so many ways. Maternal health, infant health, cost, staffing. Just in basically every way, it's extremely worrying if caesareans are being implemented when the medical indicators perhaps don't require it. Or, if they are actually medically required, why the increase?
