The drinks soon came. The waitress said that the food would be coming soon.

He raised an eyebrow, "You're not?" That was interesting to him. For some reason it made him find her more fascinating.
"For my job, yes, but when I'm on leave. . . not so much."

Damien tapped his foot on the floor as he checked their surroundings once more.
"Do you like to come here a lot?"

"The cream cheese and mango you mentioned." He answered, looking at her menu.
When the waitress came, Damien said his order - including a cup of water before looking at Agatha, waiting for her to say hers.

she sat the menu down with a soft smile.
“ what about you? ”

Knowing what he want, he didn't bother looking at the menu. "Do you know what you're getting?" He asked, looking at her.

the brunette picked a corner booth, sliding in before her eyes moved over the menu.

It was peaceful. Just how Damien liked it. So far it was a good sign.
Due to his time in the force, he was constantly checking their surroundings as if expecting someone to attack.
"You can pick where we sit."

she flashed a smile before entering. it was quiet, nice lighting, soft music.

Now he was somewhat excited to try it but it didn't show on his face. Once they've arrived, he opened the door for her.

"What kind of sushi do you like to get?" He finally broke the silence as they approached their destination. He'd try whatever she found was the best.

The silence that was shared was nearly deafening but comforting at the same time. Damien didn't know what to talk about - remaining quiet and calm. Almost like he enjoyed the silence. Whether they'd talk or be quiet, he enjoyed it nonetheless.
