We've partnered with Elpida Therapeutics to advance 3 clinical gene therapy programmes for ultra-rare childhood neurodegenerative diseases: Spastic Paraplegia type 50 (SPG50), CLN7 Batten disease and Charcot–Marie–Tooth type 4J. The first children are already taking part in a Phase III SPG50 trial.
Lung infections can still cause damage in cystic fibrosis, even when people feel healthier and cough up less sputum.
Precision-CF is working to improve how infections are detected and understood, including through a wider range of sample types. #CFWeek
CognoMND is a simple digital tool that could allow people with motor neuron disease to be assessed for cognitive and behavioural changes in their own time, from the comfort of their homes.
