Wonderful news from Scotland. So many congratulations to my colleagues campaigning against assisted dying who never gave up.
Went to an incredible concert tonight at Sir Ian McKellan’s house. Simon O’Neill singing Dichterliebe accompanied by my father. Surreal, in the best way.
Am at the Old Vic. Lady behind me is recounting how she went to the opening night of Arcadia with Isaiah Berlin. Who apparently remarked “oh it’s just too clever clever clever”.
