As every week passes, the likelihood grows of Reform taking power and totally dismantling UK democracy while taking us out of the ECHR, abandoning Net Zero and destroying millions of lives. Not because it is popular - far from it - but because there is no serious will to stop it happening.
So how does a far-right government not take power in 2029? A desperately weak and terrified PM may soon be replaced - by a man who looks like he too will equivocate in the face of fascist violence and insurrection. Meanwhile, the Greens are led by an entirely unserious chancer. Where is the hope?
