The NY Times has *really* lost its way in the desert, while somewhat confoundingly, the WSJ continues to punch with hard-hitting stories about the ineptitude of the administration it helped elect. The NY Times just tiptoes around that, not daring to criticize the president.

I really don’t think “Experience the thrill of the familiar!” is quite the compelling tagline the cable company seems to think it is.
Fire escapes are an iconic feature of New York streetscapes, but they are actually slowly on the way out - they've been banned in new construction since 1968. In stark sunlight, they still make for wonderful studies of light and shade. #photography #nyc #streetgrammar #firescape
