Reminds me how, around three months after COVID vaccines became available, there was a sudden influx of articles like, "Don't you miss meeting your co-workers in the office?" and "Staff meetings sure were great, huh?" and (not making this up) "Wasn't the commute the best part of your day?"

You ever notice the only articles that tell us “people like these!” or “you should adapt it or you’ll fall behind” for stuff like AI or smart anythings are people who are deeply invested in tech and tech reporting?
Everybody divorced from it finds it shady, questionable, costly or gimmicky at best
