Grandstand built for University College School Old boys Club in Isleworth. The design by Stutcliffe & Farmer features a curved cantilevered roof. The site is now a 5-a-side football centre 🥅

Clapton Stadium

Owen Williams/Anthony Tripe and G.G. Wornum
A football & greyhound stadium originally opened in 1896. A new layout was overseen by Owen Williams in 1928, and a decade later a new entrance was added by Tripe and Wornum. The stadium closed in 1974 and was later demolished.

The twin towers of Wembley Stadium, originally designed by Maxwell Ayrton and Owen Williams as part of the 1924 British Empire Exhibition, and later turned into the national football stadium until its demolition in 2002 🏆
Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Enfield

Construction began on this stadium in 1939, but was interrupted by World War Two. It was completed in 1953, and renamed for the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977 ⚽️
