Investing into SpaceX funds fascism. This from Musk yesterday:
Prediction: while many news outlets fold their climate newsletters under new energy-related labels, and with COP31 potentially discussing an ‘electrification target’, there will come a time when the world will finally discover ‘food systems’ as ‘the other lever’. Supply chains are already breaking.
Am getting bored of the energy trilemma (affordable, secure, clean) showing up in corporate speeches. It is a false trichotomy. No idea if that word exists. Now it does.
News organisations who breathlessly cover the ‘biggest IPO ever’ without adding perspectives on who Musk is, what he did to the world’s most vulnerable people by destroying USAID, or to democracy, have no compass, no ethics. This is not just another big IPO. This funds more damage to humanity.

To use the old adage by which the stone ages didn’t end because we ran out of stones, the fossil age won’t end because the UK’s North Sea gas has been depleted. The combination of wind, solar, batteries and a pan-European grid is just far cheaper, cleaner, and safer.
