Are Juvenile stages of the Bobbled Skoik, featuring a large paddle-like tail to traverse and swim inside of thick mud.
It has oily skin, making Pikmin swarming futile, only direct hits will damage it in any meaningful way.

is a creature that appears to be in its larval stage through its whole life, using the cocoon it shed through its pupa stage as a mask to create distorted noises through.
It uses its ‘mask’ as an instrument to lure prey or to trick predators

Are a symbiotic set of creatures, biological similar, that hormonally communicate to each-other.
Winged Buzzers and Bung Bugs are not the same species as eachother, but form harmony regardless.

Here is a tier list of the Proportionally Strongest Characters in the Pikmin series. As I learn of more proportionally-strong characters I will add them to the tier list. Also for reference, every Pikmin type is 1x.

The Newly Nostalgic series from Pikmin 4 can be seen as a successor to the Blast from the Past series from Pikmin 2. Both are made up entirely of old Nintendo hardware from years past. Even the time gap is similar, with the bulk of the treasure coming from ~20 years prior to the game.
