Heck, visual scripting is a great fit for something like GAS too, letting you design the functionality of abilities in flexible and intuitive ways.

Yeah I've been seeing that they're trying to toss out BPs in favor of the Verse scripting language and honestly I think that might be the biggest mistake of all, even aside from the AI stuff.
There's lots of legitimate use cases for it too even outside of indie dev - for prototype work that gets ported to C++ later, or for letting designers author little bespoke bits of functionality without having to involve an engineer directly (both cases I've seen firsthand)
UE4 managed to claw a fucking HUGE indie dev mind share away from Unity by making an engine that was significantly more approachable than UE3 - and a big factor there was visual scripting I think.

Okay so something I've noticed about the new place is that outside of like three I just have to find screens for, there's a lot more windows I can open downstairs (PLUS the side patio door, which also has a screen) Which makes the downstairs WAY cooler than our current place.
