Looks like I'm exploring liminal spaces irl today 😍
I need your help, #gamedev friends! I am trying to come up with a drink pouring interaction for flat screen to match the one I already have in VR and I need examples of this done well in other games.
Do you know of any immersive games where you can pour/spill/mix drinks that aren't VR exclusive?
First attempt at flat screen controls for liquid manipulation. It's pretty challenging to get it to the right position, but also kinda fun as a mini-game.

Just realized that one of my calculations includes a square root of a value that might be negative. I should probably fix that so my liquids don't accidentally shift into the complex plane 😆
Just saw Backrooms in the cinema, and as a liminal space enjoyer, I feel like it misses the mark on the point of liminal spaces, at least for me.
But the theater was packed and the film was enjoyable overall, so it was still worth watching.

Made the containers snap to nearby glasses (and bottles) so it's now really easy to pour liquids from one container into another with flat screen controls. Turned out to be more complicated than I expected due to all the transforms I had to take into account but it works now!
