It's impossible to overestimate how important the RPG Maker community is to video games, so many classic games in the past 35 years were either made by the community or inspired by them.
To see one of their main knowledge banks nonchalantly wiped away like this is disgusting.
The research this artist did on this detection tool is fantastic and I think it’s worth a full read. Please do not trust detection tools as law. If you have to use them for something, let it be a tool, not some sole arbiter of truth.

It sucks that everyone should have to engage with software as a whole right now like they're IN tech, foooor sure. Best advice I can give everyone is read EULA/TOS, especially when permission requirements are many, and learn what it looks like when permissions are actively being used on your device.

lrs it really feels like GotchaGotchaGames has generationally failed the RPG Maker series in so many ways. I am much more apt to recommend SmileBoom's "RPG Developer Bakin" lately over any RPG Maker stuff past MZ. Also wish Wolf RPG Editor had better EN resource links.
Interesting. Looks like there is some strangeness going on over at VRChat; there was a reported data breach, but VRC is apparently denying that. I don't have much info yet but just my constant reminder to use unique passwords and passkey/2FA whenever possible!
