Even though June is the 2nd most active month for Pennsylvania, June 2026 has easily taken the 2nd spot for most tornadoes for June with more surveys ongoing.
The NWS is still surveying the damage from the storms on Sunday, but we do know that 5 tornadoes have been confirmed.
The 13 year tornado drought in Potter County (5th longest in PA) has been broken.
So far the survey has not confirmed a tornado in Clearfield County (3rd longest tornado drought).
17 tornadoes so far this year have impacted 11 counties in Pennsylvania. #PAwx
