Scotswood Road efficiently moving lots of people tonight.
As it's the 9th June we've added some extra cameras to our website so you can see if there's anybody going along the Scotswood Road to Blaydon this evening.
7:15pm would be a good time to check.

It's clear what the cause of air pollution on the Coast Road and Stephenson Road is. A barrier alongside a pavement isn't going to solve the problem.
Air pollution has been greatly reduced in London through strong leadership addressing issues sensibly. We need the same to happen in Newcastle.
“Newcastle City Council continues to carry out pedestrian surveys to establish whether a formal crossing will be introduced outside the school.”
It is very concerning that a formal crossing might not be thought necessary next to a school - we really do need a standard road design around schools.
So to avoid installing a bus route to solve a problem created by motorists, Newcastle Council aren’t going to restrict pollution at source, are going to make thinks even more unpleasant on an narrow shared route for pedestrians & cyclists (alongside creating a large tapestry for graffiti in a park).
As Newcastle Council is now under Lib Dem control, we look in our latest blog about Lib Dem values & how they might relate to Transport in our city.
The Lib Dem values are: Liberty, Equality, Democracy, Community, Human Rights, Internationalism and Environmentalism.
