Truly can't imagine a better use of your time and money than traveling to see the world. I am genuinely a better person now for having experienced places like this, a person with more empathy, more resilience, and a broader understanding of the world and the people in it.
Have you ever seen the dancing of the northern lights?
For me, getting a northern lights reflection is the holy grail of nature photography. Requires an absolutely incredible amount of patience and luck, but the results are hard to beat.

I created this entire sequence with my camera, using human skills. Something like this would have cost dozens of dollars in prompting, but for me it was completely free.

Tomorrow I fly back to the Lofoten Islands in the Norwegian Arctic. Last year the first night we arrived I filmed this outrageous combination of full moon rainbow combined with Northern Lights. Hard to imagine how this year could top it, but fingers crossed!
