#OTD in 1944, Saint-Aubin-Sur-Mer, France. Pilot Second Lieutenant John Alfred Weese's P47 was hit by flak. Though he gave no indication to his flight members of being injured, by the time rescuers had made it to his aircraft he had died from his wounds. R.I.P. #WW2 #HISTORY
