It would be nice if, on a hot sunny day, the @peakdistrict.bsky.social, spent its time advising how swimming can be done safely without impacting wildlife, rather than acting like the most normal thing in the world is a dangerous act of criminality.

As an immigrant, one of the most confusing things about the UK is how swimming outdoors is treated as an extreme, taboo, inherently dangerous act. I understand the water temperature is generally lower in the summer than where I come from, but that alone doesn’t explain it.
The film, featuring Right to Roam activists and landowners alike, is a study of capital, class and exclusion
