I'll go one further: there are few things to apologize for in personal art/fic. Look at yourself. Determine if you have done something hurtful *or* if you are just worried people will dislike you because they wanted something specific. If it's the latter? They are the assholes who should apologize.
May I also add:
Stop apologizing for NOT making art! It’s okay to take a break if you’re not inspired! Forcing yourself to make stuff you’re not really into will just lead to burn out.

Artists, stop apologizing for drawing the things u are inspired to draw at the moment when they are different than the things you usually/used to draw.
You're allowed to have as many interests as you want. Those are allowed to change.
