These results emphasize the need to expand health care system–wide resources including primary care access and telemedicine, and enhancing resources for emergency department clinicians to improve concussion care.

Patients w/ higher socioeconomic marginalization and w/o family doctors were more likely to seek concussion care in ER depts rather than outpatient clinics. Those patients, particularly w/o family doctors, were less likely to receive follow-up care within 30 days of first visit.
