An evening bike ride turned scary after a cyclist cruising downhill came around a turn and crashed headlong into an unsuspecting bear in the road near Pinecrest Lake. “All I remember is a close-up of the bear’s face,” the cyclist said. “He looked about as scared and surprised as I was.”
