How to train your rodent: Recommendations for the preclinical study of exercise-induced benefits in metabolic research
Regular physical activity is fundamental in promoting health; however, uncovering the molecular adaptations remains challenging in humans. Rodent models have been indispensable for unveiling biological responses to exercise, but performing preclinical interventions can be challenging. Here, we outline key experimental considerations to guide best practices in future preclinical exercise studies.
