I thought removing some asphalt on my driveway to expand my patio would be a quick job...
80 years of asphalt layers!
They added some flex posts, but haven't touched the corner they made unsafe. Will they be adding more concrete protection to the south east corner to replace the one they removed? @shawnmenard.bsky.social #ottbike
A group of handsome individuals have partially fixed this bench at Pimisi which has been neglected for about 2 years

@shawnmenard.bsky.social Can you explain the choice to remove the protected part of this protected intersection?
You have created a huge sideswipe risk for anyone cycling here taking a right turn from Main.
Another day another car crash
In this issue of our Ward 9 Newsletter, I put my cards on the able on the City's Long Range Financial Plan, which, in my opinion, is short-sighted. It's one of the more important messages I've issued during this Term of Council. www.seandevine.ca/june_2_2026_...
Today at City Hall, council votes on the Long Range Financial Plan To Kick The Can Down The Road So The Next Council Needs To Make The Hard Decisions To Raise Taxes Or Sell Off Facilities And Not Us (LRFPTKTCDTRSTNCNTMTHDTRTOSOFANU).
@jleiper.bsky.social @arieltroster.com So the City ignored this broken bench at Pimisi for almost two years after a salter knocked it over. We lifted it back into place and replaced the missing slats. Is this the "efficiencies" Ive been hearing so much from the Mayor about?
Im on the "tax me what is needed to pay for the services I expect" train, personally. I dont understand the crowd that think artificially low taxes dont have a cost.
