As my colleague @jamesmaccleary.bsky.social commented, the Liberal Democrats would cancel the order and buy 12 British-built Typhoons instead. The same number of jets, but a genuine sovereign capability, backing British jobs, skills and putting over £500m back into our domestic forces.
