“Council calls off climate emergency” is a remarkable headline.
A bit like voting to declare the Earth flat.
Whether politicians acknowledge a problem and whether that problem continues to exist are, unfortunately, two entirely different things.

Suffolk County Council plans to audit all its environmental projects.

Great work.
Did you know that we are now without true nighttime in the UK?
From now until late August/early September (depending where you are) we remain in perpetual twilight
So proud to be flying the flag for darkness on the @endsreport.com Power List 2026!
Privileged to have made the list of top 100 most impactful environmental professionals, there are some amazing people doing incredible things on that list, and all of us fighting the good fight for nature ✨
FITBIT USERS

No Mow May Day 5 offerings:
Very pretty Common Cornsalad. No idea where that’s come from.
Germander Speedwell, always a favourite with me! So delicate and colourful.
Wild strawberry and some mint has also arrived.
Lovely!
