I liked SO much about this story. The eccentric talking monsters. The disassociation Helena goes through. The weird landscapes and dark themes. I just needed the right combination to put the pieces together.

Good question. I began transitioning in 2019. I didn't know how this radical change in my life would affect my art. So instead of writing something new I looked way back at a novel I tried to write before, but never quite got right, called Vitrified.
