I've mentioned before: Himself says my hearing aids are 'useless' (on whose authority?!), so he doesn't want hearing aids himself. Suffice to say that he is now cheerfully chomping away at tea-leaf muffins, because he couldn't hear me say 'kiwi fruit'.
