Curacao, which is a constituent part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, may be the tiniest nation ever to appear in the World Cup but its players are all (but one) from the European Netherlands born and raised, and many of whom (including the coach) have played or worked for German Bundesliga teams.

I gotta say it is going to be trippy seeing my hometown stadium on German TV tomorrow for the World Cup. I marched in band contest at the old Astrodome next door in high school (along with a million football games).
