Happy to report though, that the ethical chocolate is really good. If you want to support chocolate farmers and avoid child labour, I recommend it.

Two years since I was last in Glenveagh National Park and there are clear signs that a reduction in deer numbers is effective in restoring and expanding the native, fantastic to see!
Before (2021) / After (2026) the pedestrianization of Rue Emile Richard in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. This 400 meters street that goes between the two parts of the Montparnasse cemetery was pedestrianized in 2023.
The chives are horizontal with all the heavy rain but the bees are out and feeding on them every chance they get 🌱

It’s hard to enjoy chocolate knowing that it’s usually farmed by people who’re so neglected that they’ve never once tasted the fruits of their own labour. Something enjoyed as a ubiquitous luxury in rich countries, but produced by exploited workers in Africa. That sounds… familiar.
