I don't agree with the title, but I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with the core message. Expertise is very important for producing and shipping high quality production software. If you use an LLM at work, you MUST put in the reps to acquire and keep up your expertise somehow.

A few weeks ago, I talked about AI and its impact, and the uncertainty it's causing. It was a bit downbeat. I thought it would be a good idea to make something with a bit more of an uplifting message as a follow-up. Of course it hit a new audience and all the haters have shown up in the comments 😅
