Northern Ireland, functionally, has no immigration. Net immigration last year was about 8000 people in a population of 2 million, and that was a record.
Northern Ireland is such a beautifully revealing test case because it is both still *incredibly* racially homogenous *and* has extremely, extremely obvious non-immigration-related reasons for high levels of violence and community unrest - yet these people still can't help themselves
Since Trump took office, there has not been a single arrest of a "paid protestor," or indeed a single piece of evidence that paid protestors exist.
It remains something that Trump admin officials routinely claim to be investigating but have so far utterly failed to prove is more than a fantasy.
