Dani Owens successfully defended her MSc thesis yesterday on American pika population change in Glacier NP (eep!) Crushed it 🔥 Dani will be starting her PhD at U Iowa in my lab in the fall, continuing her work on pikas. She’s kind, driven, and whip-smart. Possibly born above the tree line. So proud!
