Lonergan is a sneaky kind of funny. I found this part of Insight where he explains that metaphysics is general, and so can’t tell you everything, and ALSO… a lot like knowing thermodynamics won’t make you warm, so knowing metaphysics won’t make you experience things. (subtext: duh, you fools)
