Robert said: β€œHaving a transplant has given me the chance to get back on the pitch and enjoy the game again… every time we play, it’s a celebration of that.”
The tournament brought together more than 60 transplant recipients from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to celebrate the transformative power of organ donation.
Kidney transplant recipients Robert Collins and Adam Martin, both cared for at the Churchill Hospital, were part of the unbeaten squad managed by Daley Cross, Renal and Transplant Youth Worker.
