Colorado State Representative for House District 33. Former Council Member for City and County of Broomfield for Ward 1. Son of Vietnamese Refugees Website: nguyenforcolorado.com
Kenny Van Nguyen
I'm deeply honored to to be endorsed by Broomfield City Council Member Julie Twiss to continue to serve as Colorado State Representative for House District 33. Public servants turned elected officials like Julie are the foundation of our democracy. Thank you for being a public servant and thank you

The Colorado Sun is shining a bright light on the dark money here in House District 33. Dark money groups who do their best to hide their donors have spent about $250,000 against me. What we do know of the donors behind these groups, like One Main Street, is alarming!
I am honored to receive a 100% score from the Women's Lobby of Colorado this legislative session! As a freshman legislator I supported bills that improve the lives of crime victim-survivors, our elderly, women in the workplace, LGBTQ+ groups, and those needing access to care.
In 2006, four CU Boulder students started New Era Colorado as they were driven by the belief that young people are essential to moving the country forward. As one of the youngest legislators at the State Capitol, I was proud to join New Era's 20th Anniversary at my alma mater!
I am honored to announce that I was among the 21 lawmakers to receive an A+ from the Voces Unidas Action Fund for my voting record this past legislative session. I am proud to have supported legislation that not only benefits HD33 but benefits all Coloradans across the state.
I am happy to announce that HB26-1320, was signed into law by @colorado.gov! In Colorado we cherish the right to democracy through our ballot measures. This law directs the Title Board to write ballot titles using concise, accessible, and understandable language for all Coloradans.
Today is the last day for Governor Polis to sign any bills into law, and here is my legislative recap for this session. This work wasn't possible without all of you, and I am honored to serve as your current State Representative for HD33.
We need legislators who have a record of standing up to Trump and ICE. I supported legislation (SJR26-006, HB26-1276, HB26-1283, SB26-005, and SB26-176) aimed at safeguarding constitutional rights for immigrants and will continue fighting to keep ICE out of our communities.
I joined Scott Moss, a law professor who has investigated Dark Money influencing our elections in Colorado. For weeks a new Independent Expenditure Committee based in Durango called "Promoting Progressive Women" has been trying to influence this election, including a new AI slop ad attacking me.
To the LGBTQ+ community in HD33, across the state, and across the country I wish you all a happy PRIDE Month! June is a month of celebration for everyone. Which is why I’m proud to say that I’ve been endorsed by the Rocky Mountain Equality! Coloradans come together to show love and support!
