hi guys, I ended up getting super busy so I didn't schedule any art to. post so it was just shower thoughts for like. two weeks. I'll be drawing more this week!!

That YouTuber you watch who came up with an interesting theory is not a “better writer” than the showrunner. They just had a different idea and you liked that idea. Chatting about a cool concept isn’t the same as sitting in a writing room with innumerable other facets of production relying on you.

This is fair. I mainly take issue with how theory culture overcomplicates and misses the point of media. Too often it focuses too hard on piecing together a puzzle, rather than the appreciating whole picture and what it's saying; the "no meaning, only lore" idea that killed Twin Peaks for 25 years.

"Who's worse, HYBE or COVER?" HYBE by a long shot. Even before Danielle posted her testimony, I've heard really bad rumors. At least COVER doesn't force their talents to report, before & after, when they go to the bathroom. I'd take inconsistent estrangement over extreme surveillance any day tbh.

I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!

If you are struggling mentally or are in a dark place let this be a small check point to say, it does get better. In 2023-24 I had some of the worst depression of my life. I felt like my entire career was gone as Twitter died, but more and more I keep noticing how much I’ve improved since then.
