The main character of the Bolivia chapter in my book, _Music In Flight_, about classical musicians who fled Nazi Europe for Latin America.
Conductor, composer and pianist Erich Eisner was born #OTD in 1897. From 1933 he suffered prohibitions from work and performing and, in 1938, was sent to Dachau. Freed on condition he leave Germany he exiled to La Paz, Bolivia.
