And that's not touching on the robocalls, the tactics that seem designed to drag out public hearings as long as possible... I have never seen anything quite like this in our local politics.

I think it's newsworthy that 1 organization has: - sued the city twice in 2026 - sent at least 12 of their paid staff members to public hearings, usually without disclosing affiliation - paid 20+ canvassers to collect 23,000 signatures Nobody else is doing lobbying at this scale!
