Absolutely deserves the award.
Trump's U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen announced charges against 15 Minnesotans today, citing Facebook posts as evidence of unlawful activity. The ICE agents who shot Renee Good and Alex Pretti have still not been arrested or indicted.
Commentators like @jamellebouie.net (and me) have long been invoking comparisons between now and Northern reactions to the Fugitive Slave Act in the 1850s. This poll bears that out - when face-to-face with the reality of racist authoritarianism, ordinary people get radicalized against it.
It's a 65-25 issue. It turns out that mass deportation is wildly unpopular and splitting border security from internal immigration policy makes it a winning issue.
Similar to how the effects of the Fugitive Slave Act radicalised northerners against slavery, exposure to Trump's deportation agenda has radicalised Minnesotans against deportation
People hate the American immigration and enforcement system once they are disabused of their notions of it.
Dems Stand For Something Challenge Day # This Is Your Semi-Annual Dispensation To Follow The Polls
Rest of the poll is as expected, but this finding is huge. For *every other* question in the poll, there's a 10-ish point gap between college grads and non-college grads, which is in line with national trends going back years. But on immigration there is NO EDUCATION GAP IN MINNESOTA. WOW.
This is 65-25 issue and Dems are going to run on border security or some shit
