The Irish History Students’ Association, with the support of the Department of History at Maynooth University, is delighted to announce the 77th Annual IHSA Conference, taking place on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

Submit a 250-word abstract for a 20-minute paper, plus a 100-word bio (including your name and institutional affiliation), to [email protected] by Wednesday, 7 January 2026.

Just a reminder to all speakers: please send your slides as a PowerPoint file rather than a PDF. We’re currently finalising the technical setup, and having the PowerPoint version will help us avoid any formatting issues.
We invite proposals (in English or Irish) from undergraduate, postgraduate, and early-career researchers on any historical theme or period. This is a fantastic opportunity to present your research, meet fellow students, and engage with historians from across Ireland and beyond.
